Some nice digging you have done, Hank. We owe you a big thank you for all you do. Why do we have so much trouble attracting honest people into politics? Or maybe it is the smell of money and power that comes with political office, that will corrupt all too many otherwise good citizens. In any case, it is rather disappointing.

This is very similar to the Redspeed camera pay to play scheme in the General Assembly. Redspeed paid around $80,000 in campaign donations in turn to get the camera speed enforcement law passed which is unconstitutional because it denies drivers due process. If you don’t pay a ticket Redspeed can put a lien on your vehicle. You don’t get to see the data from the camera either. It’s bribery and a crime!
